Patience is not something I have a lot of. Actually, I have none. Based on my little app, I should be ovulating today with my “most fertile” day (28% chance) being tomorrow. But guess who’s been taking ovulation tests every day all week? Right. Just in case. Didn’t want to miss it.
So, this morning, before my first time hosting at the World’s Longest Yard Sale (which happens to be IN my front yard), I was exasperated when my ovulation test didn’t show up positive.
My friends and I had a great day selling our trash and made a hefty sum of cash, deciding to make it an annual tradition going forward. With a 3 week old baby, one due in December, and my theoretical baby on the way, we agreed we’d have plenty of stuff next year to put up for sale AND possibly put together a baby corral for the kids.
After all was said and done, we packed it in around 3pm (started at 7am), counted up our cash and went our separate ways for the day.
Once I’d started to settle back into weekend mode (laundry, etc) I decided I’d better check again, just in case.

Shocked, I saw two lines (positive LH surge test), and immediately took a second test. Two lines again!
Excited, I called the doctor’s number and left a message. Hopefully, I’ll hear back and go in tomorrow for The Procedure.
So. Here We Go!
