So the nurse called back and said that everything looked good and that my levels were at 128.7, which was “really good!” I found that encouraging but had no idea what it meant. I go back Wednesday morning to make sure the HCG levels are rising and then there will be a scan or ultrasound (my listening skills need work) in two weeks.
I went online and found a handy little chart that said that at 4 weeks pregnant (don’t even get me started on the weird way they count how many weeks along you are) your HCG levels should be…..
Between 5 and 500.
Wtf kind of insane range is that?! Well, I guess I’m right in there so that’s good.
This whole thing is going to be crazy.
And apparently they count how many weeks pregnant you are based on your last period – you know, instead of when you actually GOT pregnant.
Oh, doctors. You’re so crazy.
