Week 9ish – Pecan

I’ve finally been released into the wilds of regular OB appointments, of which I’ll have my first this coming Thursday on 10/06. They’ll do another ultrasound and take some blood and give me some information, I’m sure. There’s a blood test they can run between week 10 and 13 that looks for Big Bad Genetic Issues and often also comes with a gender identification. I’ll be asking to find out when I can have it done, for sure.

Otherwise, life is pretty normal. I get queasy here and there – evenings still are more complicated than mornings but I’m trying not to skip meals or spend too much time without food. I will say that the Gin-Gins and Queasy Drops have made life much simpler. I’ve got them on hand at all times.

Otherwise, nothing exciting to report. Although my app does have a couple of interesting things that I thought I’d share:

Little do they know this baby will probably have some level of an accent, but since mine isn’t too heavy, maybe kiddo will dodge it.

Well that’s tiny and amazing and terrifying.
