So this weekend has been busy. I’ve gotten it into my insane head that I need to get EVERYTHING done in the yard that I can while the weather is decent and I’ve got the energy. So today after a workout I went home and put out mulch and started to pick up acorns that are everywhere in the 40 flower beds I have. After a lot of lunges at the gym and an hour of squatting to pick up acorns, I decided it was a good time to stop for round one. I’d estimate (based on the kettlebell at the gym) this was a 30lb bucket.

So after that, I took a break and read a and took it easy until my mom came by and glory upon glory we set up the crib. So, now the cats are very happy to have one more thing to explore.

I guess I’m getting closer and closer. Now to clean off the misc junk on the bed, line the drawers, and start filling up this dresser I have with stuff.
For now, I’ll focus on the yard and save the indoor stuff for later.

Sprout is also impressively earning me bonus points at the gym this week – I added 5lbs on my max bench press (130lbs), 5lbs on my power snatch (78lbs) and was able to deadlift 195 x 3 the other day. Thanks, Sprout!
