Weekly update. Ember is apparently 6 1/2 inches long. According to my app, that is comparable to the following:

Spent the weekend taking it easy, waiting on a new couch to be delivered, and decorating the Christmas tree with my mom tonight. Realizing that next year I’ll be a mom with a tiny kiddo while we trim the tree is still crazy.  My mom is a huge fan of real trees, which I love, and hope we’ll have a real one next year at her house for kiddo.

Thanks to some of my dearest friends, I was excited to hang this ornament at my mom’s tonight. I am looking forward to starting my own little family’s tree with ornaments. 

In other news, I’ll be at the doctor’s tomorrow for a scan and my mom will join me. I think she’ll have a great time. Photos and news to come.
