You know how some people have maternity photos taken in the woods in a dress or on a beach with the salt air and majestic sunsets or with their loving husband looking longily at their big tummy? I was lucky enough to have a dear friend offer to take photos for me and originally I thought “Yes! Let’s go to the woods! It’s so green and I love Spring and I can’t wait!” But the closer the time came, the more ridiculous it seemed for me. Stomping out into the woods in a dress with hair and make-up? Come on, that’s not me. So I wondered, what IS me? 

And luckily, I came up with a great idea. How about we take some maternity photos where I’ve spent most of my time in pregnancy? On the couch. At home. With these cats.
