Kiddo had a big week. She started it off last Sunday with a birthday celebration for her Bapu.

They are bug buddies for sure – and she and Mimi are tight.

Later in the week, after a full class at daycare for the first time, with seven new baby friends to play with, kiddo ran a fever. She has been pretty congested lately so who knows what caused it, but Daddy noticed she wasn’t feeling well before I did. We gave her some Tylenol and she was much better but still had to stay home from school on Friday. Luckily, she’s got some pretty great grandparents (Kevin’s mom and dad) who are happy to help out, and she enjoyed playing at their house all day.

She’s getting bigger every day – in fact, she even helped with her bottle this afternoon, while looking a bit annoyed.

Although she isn’t teething yet, she is doing a lot of chewing. She’s also starting to really enjoy standing up and isn’t as big of a fan of being leaned back – she’d far rather sit on your knee and watch what’s going on.

This tiny baby who used to sleep in her rock n’play nightly may revisit it this weekend to help with her congestion. I put her in it today to see how she liked it and needless to say, she’s definitely grown since last time!

We hope she starts feeling better soon, but mostly she’s her playful self – just extra snotty.
