It’s been a crazy week for Ember’s 5 month birthday. She was sick last week and then on Sunday got so congested that we got really worried about her breathing and took her to the ER. After about 5 hours, we left at 3am having gotten her a breathing treatment and some steroids for her croup and stridor that she was experiencing. Talk about scary. 

This week she’s been making a happy healthy recovery, but being used to a sweet baby who doesn’t whine being replaced with a sad, sick whiny baby was interesting. Of course we also got sick, so overall the house has just been delightful all week. 

Our little girl is rolling over, squealing, laughing and grabbing things. She stands on her legs when you help her and has trouble sitting still.  She’s also a big fan of sticking out her tongue.

Overall, she’s a happy baby and she makes us happy every single day.
