Ember is 8 months old!

She loves sitting up and smacking things – toys and everything else. She is a happy little girl who spends most of her time bouncing around, blowing raspberries, and going “aaaaah!” like a tiny monster. Apparently at 6 months, babies should he saying “ma, ba, da,” but Ember just goes “aaaaahhh!” Which is fine by us. If she’s anything like her mom, she’ll have plenty of time to talk.

She had her Christmas program at school which included the baby room singing jingle bells by shaking/eating bells. Overall, it was a masterpiece that only a mother could love – and I did. She’s also very proud of her artwork.

We had pictures with Santa last weekend and sent out some Christmas cards this week. 

Overall, we are looking forward to a sweet first Christmas as a family.
