Ember is ON the move! She’s pulling up on everything she can find and creeping from place to place. She crawls all the time and continues to be the happiest baby in town!

We spent most of the weekend settling into the new house, which also included a trip to Target where she FINALLY enjoyed riding in the cart and (I’ll assume) being a Target shopper. I’m so proud!!

She was very impressed by the deals, obviously.

We are happy to be planning her small birthday get together in a few weeks and I simply cannot believe she is already almost one year old. It has been the best year ever – even though some days (and nights – boo ear infections and croup) have been hard. She’s the absolute best thing that ever happened to me and I love her with all my heart.

We are settling into our new normal in a new neighborhood with a new job and schedule for Kevin. It’s all falling into perfect place and we are so grateful for everything.

Also, Ember is a big fan of pointing. But not Easter Egg hunts at school.

There were way too many people and she was very cranky.

Poor cranky baby.

She has three teeth on the bottom and her top two – along with another coming through as we speak! She loves to eat real food – she especially likes when we go to Mexican restaurants and she can chow down on avocados. She’s even starting to use a spoon on her own!

(At daycare – mom is too nervous about the mess to try at home so soon!)
