Family of four

We are a happy family of four at home and resting and learning what our new normal is going to look like.

Ember was very excited to see her sister again on Tuesday at the hospital when Dad brought her over and was overjoyed to hold her.

She was also excited to continue eating cake as a celebration of her sister’s birthday, of course.

Zora did great at the hospital and we all headed home on her third day.

Ember was just as excited to see her at the house when she got home from school.

This tiny baby is doing well and everyone is learning what our new balance will look like – Ember knows she has to take a bath and be good for Daddy before she can hold Baby Zora at nights and that she has to be gentle with Mommy.

Our first night at home was long but good. We’re all working together on getting rest and enjoying every minute we have while also balancing all the things it feels like we need to do (says Mom only).

We are lucky to have a sweet tempered little girl who sleeps and snuggles and only barfs every so often. At four days old, she is pure joy.
