3 Months +

Well, winter time sickness has hit our house. Ember had RSV this past week, so Zora’s 3 month photo shoot got pushed back a bit. Now baby is all snotty, but so far no fever. She was still a good sport for pictures yesterday.

In general, Zora is an easy going happy little girl. She’s started cooing and working towards rolling over.

She LOVES her big sister and the feeling is mutual. The hardest part of Ember being sick was keeping her off of Baby Zora. Many tears were shed for not being able to give her hugs.

Baby Zora is moving along, she’s so strong that tummy time is no problem for her.

Mom and Dad have been taking Ember on “big girl” dates pretty regularly since Baby Zora came along. Most recently we went to Rock City to see the Christmas lights. It was COLD but Ember had fun.

And of course, so did we.

Thanksgiving at the house was great. We had the family up for a low key pot luck and everyone enjoyed plenty of food while no one had to spend an entire day cooking and cleaning house.

Ember has been very excited about Christmas coming up, but has now twice been very UNHAPPY when she saw Santa in person.

Once at Rock City and once at school. But she’s still in the Christmas spirit and “it’s okay to cry sometimes.”

Daddy and Zora got a chance for lots of quarantined alone time this weekend in hopes of preventing them getting sick. Neither one seemed to mind.

We are hopeful to have a whole house full of healthy people going in to Christmas. Fingers crossed!!
