Today Zora is 4 months old!

We expect her to be heading to daycare soon with big sister. As expected, part of me can’t believe she’s already four months old and another feels like she’s always been here with us.

She has recently been very interested in everything – studying anything she can get her hands on, picking up her toys and checking out faces and lights and everything else she sees. She’s cooing and squeaking and trying to roll over anytime we let her play on her mat or the floor.

Including her 4 month photo shoot.
She is also sticking out her tiny tongue and it’s adorable.

She has discovered her feet and hands and is gnawing on everything and drooling like a champ. But her FAVORITE thing is her big sister. When she hears her voice she immediately looks for her and smiles anytime she sees her. Ember LOVES this and is always sweet to her baby sister. We remind her to be gentle, be careful, don’t squish your sister, etc regularly.

We all survived both RSV and the holidays, so everyone is thankful for that. Christmas was a blast – Ember got way more gifts than she probably needed and we set ourselves a budget for next year in response.

She wore princess dress after princess dress and found herself surrounded by princesses.

Ember thoroughly enjoyed Christmas, but still had a gift left to open on the 28th, so it was at least a nice slow process for one more year.

She even gave Zora a gift!

We all had a great holiday, and have every gift we could ever want right here with our family.
