Zora is five months old already!! I can’t believe how quickly it goes – just like they tell you it does. She’s doing great – she’s in the 70th percentile for height and in the 50’s for weight. She’s about 14lbs now and learning new things every day. She’s rolled over a few times, babbles and coos, gnaws on her fingers and has learned how to grab things and bring them to her – big eyes watching every single thing around her.

She LOVES her big sister and the feeling is mutual. Now that Zora and Ember are at school together, every morning Ember wants to go with her to drop her off at her room and can’t wait to help mom go pick her up in the afternoon. Sometimes we even get a little help.

School is a new big adventure for Zora and sadly she’s started it out with a head cold. But she’s still a trooper and having a great time.

In a surprising turn of events this past weekend, we got almost 3 inches of snow on Saturday! Ember was very excited to play and Zora got a few minutes in the new environment before she decided she’d much rather go inside and have some lunch.

The girls are best pals and I’m so glad Ember loves her little sister so much. I’m sure it’ll all change, but for now they’re both the others biggest fan.

This past weekend Zora even decided it was time to start hugging Ember back.

I couldn’t be happier!! ❤️
