Zora is 8 months old today!

Her big sister was very helpful with her photo shoot this afternoon.

Zora LOVES Ember and Ember LOVES Zora. We are lucky to have very few jealousy issues (so far). I thank Daniel Tiger for teaching Ember a lot of sing song lessons on how to deal with her feelings and luckily Daniel has a baby sister too.
Zora is crawling- she just started but is definitely on the move. She’s been sitting up and rocking and clapping for a while but the crawling began this week.

Now that she crawls, it’s her favorite thing to do. Which means most of her day is spent making happy sounds about crawling or grumpy sounds about not crawling. She’s baby talking constantly- ba ba, ga ga, and LOTS of jabbering and squealing.

Oh and she has TWO teeth!

She’s in 9 month clothes and they’re almost too small so we will be going through and getting out the 12 month ones soon. She loves to watch Ember play, still loves to be held. I know the transition will be hard going back to daycare but I think it will be good for her.

Our second full month of quarantine is almost complete and neither Kevin nor I feel like we will be comfortable going back out into the world like “normal” until at least June. With the local soft open of our city, we are watching to see how it goes for the folks who decide to venture out. It has been such a crazy time and I feel absolutely blessed to have been able to be home with the girls during all of this. We will see what the future brings but I know as long as I’ve got this little family, I will be happy.
