10 Months Old

Zora is 10 months old! She will be 1 year so soon. Taking 10 month photos turned out to be a challenge – Zora doesn’t sit still anymore. She is constantly on the go, crawling and creeping and lately rushing around the house in her car (walker).

An attempt to get a “regular” 10 month photo was an excellent disaster, so we are going a little less traditional this month.

Zora loves to baby talk – lots of “ba ba ba” and the occasional “ma ma da da” but in general she’s just busy talking, screaming, babbling and giggling. Having Ember at home all day being plenty loud seems to encourage Zora to match her.

She LOVES her big sister and her big sister LOVES her. I am so glad we’re able to spend so much time together during this crazy time in the world.

Zora LOVES to stand up and jump. She’s not very happy when she’s left in a room without her mom or sister and generally starts complaining loudly.

Zora is working on eating food – although mom went to great lengths to make baby food, at this point Zora is excited about finger foods more than anything else. She loves puffs, strawberries, yogurt, and mostly anything anyone else is eating. She’s now a avid snacker – she gets bites of most things being eaten in the house.

She enjoys walks in the stroller, albeit normally with taking a few handfuls of her sister’s hair – she has some very grabby hands. And she’s very strong. I dont think she will have any problems holding her own with Ember soon.

Zora can’t wait to go go go. When given the opportunity she will quickly take off up the stairs.
