End of Summer

It’s hard to believe we are nearing the end of summer already – and that the girls and I have been home together for over 6 months now. I am so lucky to be able to work from home and keep them here, safe and together. The time they have spent tangled up with one another is irreplaceable and I’m so glad we have been able to do it.

We go on stroller rides regularly and now that it’s not so hot outside every morning I am looking forward to doing them more often.

They have gotten used to taking a nap at the same time each day, in Zora’s room, and it’s nice to have some quiet time after lunch. Often I will nap too! They are always happy to see each other when they wake up.

Recently, Ember has started taking a Driveway Ballet class and is absolutely loving it. She’s doing great and having a blast.

She loves Miss Crissy and her friends Fable, Dottie Rose and Marian are all in her class with her as well.

Staying home and not going to school or the office every day has been hard. Not having adventures or playing with many other kids has been hard. We are happy to visit with our inner circle when we can.

We are doing our best to soak up the good times because it’s a scary world out there right now, and feeling hopeless doesn’t help anything. I am so happy to have such a sweet family and a beautiful place to live!
