We took the girls along with Mamaw and Granddaddy and Gigi to Panama City Beach for what we hope to be our Annual Beach Trip. Last year, obviously, we skipped. The difference between Ember this year and in 2019 was astounding. Both the girls loved the pool and being surrounded by grandparents and parents.
Ember took to the beach and the ocean like crazy. Daddy was a big encourager and they had so much fun together. She also loved swimming and we are hoping to get her into lessons now that we are home.
She went searching for seashells at night the last two evenings with her flashlight with Daddy and Mamaw and Granddaddy. And she and mommy even went for a late night swim on our last night. Zora mostly liked riding in the backpack and playing in the pool.
It was so fun to be able to take the girls individually on adventures as well as have a few moments to ourselves. Being with all the grandparents was wonderful. We are so lucky to have been able to go.
